kG Krishnan was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1989. A journalist, photographer and contemporary artist, his work explores ideas surrounding sociopolitical themes such as gender, sexuality, human rights and urban identity.

As a commercial photographer and art director, Krishnan has worked with a wide range of brands and publications for whom he produces photo and multimedia content. His works have been widely published and exhibited across Southeast Asia.
